For this card, I stared with the doily card from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge. I then cut a circle from George out of patterned paper to layer over the card. The sentiment is from Just Rite. It is more hot pink in person. ( I know it looks a little red in the picture) After I stamped it, I cut it out with a circle nestabilitie and then matted it with a scalloped circle nestie out of pink cardstock. To glam up this girls night out card, I topped it with some ribbon and petaloo flowers. Now, I just need to set up a girls night out so my card won't go to waste!

Be sure you check it out (only 1 week left to enter)!
I used the new Crafters Companion THE ULTIMATE PRO with FREE DVD to create the gate fold card and stamped the image and sayings using the amazing Crafters Companion ROCK-A-BLOCKS - Set of 4 Blocks. The image and mat were cut out and embossed using Spellbinders LARGE OCTAGONS. The background papers and the cupcake image paper were sprayed with Glimmer Mist Spray SNOW ANGEL 2oz to give it some sparkle ('cause I love sparkle). The cupcake was colored in with the E33 Copic marker from the Copic Sketch SOFT PASTELS set of 12 and frosted with Stickles COTTON CANDY.

Spring Flowers

While this project is simple - I think it turned out beautifully. I love the simple elegance and the fact that the entire project took less then 5 minutes to put together! I love projects like that!
I made a quick4x6 book using my Zutter Dreamkuts PINK and bound it together using 3/4" Bind It All Owire Binding set, BLACK and my Bind It All 'PINK'. Then I attached the Flower Soft Topper COUNTRY WINDOW quick and simple. Next I applied the Flower Soft GLUE to the flowers on the Topper and sprinkled Flower Soft HEATHER, Flower Soft IVORY and Flower Soft SWEET PEA to the image. While the glue was still wet I applied some more dots of Flower Soft GLUE and sprinkled Sparkly Fluff FLOCK LEMON DROP YELLOW over the whole image. It left sparkly flock on the new glued spots as well as mixed in with all the FLOWER SOFT flowers I had already attached. Finally i went in and added a few spots of green and purple Pearlescent WATERCOLOR SET- 16 colors for a little more shine.

Playing with Outlines and Scent My Cards
For this week's project, I was playing around with my Outlines Stamps and Scent My Cards.
The first picture is of the card and too bad you can't smell this cause the Fresh cut flowers scent is absolutely wonderful!
I used Core'dinations paper. The papers are from Rosy Reds in the All In The Family package of papers. The Greens are from the Lime Greens paper. I have left the bottom blank so it could be used for any purpose by stamping, using a sticker or just about anything you can come up with.
Below is a closer picture of the layers. These stamps let you be the creator and the layering is up to the individual. Add bling like rhinestones, pearls or Stickles to give your flower yet another element. I always emboss the stamped images before cutting. This gives you a good line to cut by.
The leaves are also a stamp from Outlines Rubber Stamp company. These are fun to play with and easy to learn. Have fun and explore Outlines Rubber Stamps from Cindy at Stamping Scrapping
The Winner is.......
1. What is your favorite Glimmer Mist color?Pearl...it just adds to anything!
