With Heartfelt Sympathy….

DSC05058

A super-simple sympathy card, using only a handful of supplies.  Here are the ones available at Stamping Scrapping:

This is a pretty straight-forward card, but here is what I did:

I punched the bottom of the card with the Martha Stewart punch, then cut and embossed the Nestabilities in the size and colors desired.  I used a sweeper brush to add Memento London Fog to the edges of the white paper, added the two layers of ribbon, layered the labels and added the rhinestones.

Super Simple!

Fairytale Collection

The new Magnolia Fairytale collection stamps are adorable!!! If you haven't seen them all, you need to check them out here.
They are available for pre-order now and I expect them to be hugely popular.
Here is a card I made using the new Tilda with Apple stamp. Because of her resemblance to Snow White, I colored her to look like Snow White.

This is the first time I have ever colored black hair. I had to practice a little, but in the end I think it turned out ok. I stamped the Tilda first, then masked her and stamped the background. I used Basic Grey June Bug paper and added a bow I made using my bow easy.

I wanted to make a quick and simple Graduation Card that would be easy to reproduce. This card can easily be used to give to someone graduating or used as in invitation to a graduation Party. I used the word Celebrate to recognize the hard work and accomplishment of graduation - whether it is from High School, College or where-ever.

This card can easily be adapted to any color scheme - and I love that envelope can be easily coordinated and fits the card perfectly!

I used the Wild Card Cartridge to make the elements of this card. This cart makes it so quick and easy to make a shaped card! I decided not to use the phrases that are suggested for this card and but picked the phrase Celebrate (since I will be using this card as a party invite). I started by cutting the envelope using the Fit to Page button and took note of the size it used. Then I cut my card and embellishments at the same size (including the envelope liner).

Next I took my Black 100 Copic marker and lined all the cut edges of the card to make it pop a little more (love the nice fine tip on these markers). The card is really a bit plain so before attaching the phrase I wanted to add a little bit of bling.

I LOVE the dimension of this glitter technique and how NOT MESSY (for glitter at least) this is. It is so sparkly and does not rub off.  For more info on this technique please visit my blog at http://www.looneybugdesigns.com/.

I would love to know what you think about my project today.

Supplies used:
Cricut Wild Card Cartridge
Copic Sketch Marker (100 - Black)
Scor-Tape
Ritz Glitter (Black)
Zip Dry Glue

April House Mouse Stamp of the Month!!

Hello Everyone! This colorful card was created with Spring in mind, can you tell? With an eye for detail, I always decorate the insides of my cards and this one is no exception, especially as it is designed to hold a gift of flower seeds for the garden, a wonderful Spring gift idea.
On the cover I featured our wonderful House Mouse pals colored with Copic Sketch Markers. I used Basic Grey's Indian Summer pattern paper and a Spellbinders Labels 8 nestabilities die to showcase the stamped image.
